Ayurveda does not claim to "cure" diabetes in the way pharmaceutical marketing promises to "manage" it. What it can do — and what our patients consistently experience — is a meaningful reduction in blood sugar levels, reduced medication dependency in Type 2 cases, and a rebuilt metabolic foundation through detoxification, dietary correction, and gut restoration. Several of our patients with Type 2 diabetes have achieved normal HbA1c with reduced or no medication after completing the full program and maintaining the prescribed lifestyle.

Our doctors manage medication protocols throughout the stay in coordination with your existing physician. We never advise stopping medication without a proper clinical evaluation. The goal is to reduce dependency safely and gradually, not to remove medication suddenly.
Most Ayurveda resorts offer relaxation-based treatments and basic Panchakarma. Tigris Valley integrates Functional Medicine diagnostics, Unani medicine, Ozone Therapy, IV Nutrition, and classical Ayurveda in a single clinically coordinated program — closer to an integrative hospital than a resort.

es. Both conditions share common root causes — hormonal dysregulation, gut dysfunction, chronic inflammation, and insulin resistance. Our integrated approach addresses these shared drivers simultaneously, which is often more effective than treating each condition separately.
Most patients notice subjective improvements (energy, digestion, sleep, stress) within the first week. Measurable lab improvements are typically seen from week 2 onwards, with more significant changes in a 21–28 day program.

Your diet is designed by our nutritionists and Ayurvedic doctors based on your dosha, your condition, and your metabolic labs. It is a therapeutic diet — warm, cooked, easy to digest, low-glycemic, and anti-inflammatory. It is not a starvation or crash diet.
